WHAT WE TREAT
Border Headache and Vertigo manages persistent or diagnostically complex headache, dizziness and post-concussion presentations.
Headache and Migraine
Ross Hamilton assesses and manages chronic and high-frequency migraine, cervicogenic headache and atypical headache presentations.
Assessment includes structured headache classification and detailed upper cervical examination. Where clinically appropriate, management may incorporate the Watson Headache® Approach.
Ross Hamilton holds Level 3 Certification in the Watson Headache® Approach, having completed the advanced training and examination requirements. He is currently the only Certified Watson Headache® Practitioner in the Albury–Wodonga region.
Dizziness and Balance Disorders
Persistent dizziness is frequently multifactorial and may involve vestibular, ocular motor and central integration components.
Presentations may include:
• Vestibular migraine
• Persistent dizziness following vestibular rehabilitation
• Visual-vestibular integration dysfunction
• Central nervous system–driven dizziness
• Post-traumatic dizziness
Assessment may incorporate video nystagmography using Vestibular First™ goggles to assist in objective observation of eye movements and nystagmus where clinically indicated.
Evaluation integrates vestibular, ocular motor and neuro-musculoskeletal examination to support diagnostic clarification in complex presentations.
Persistent Neck Pain and Whiplash
• Ongoing symptoms following motor vehicle accidents
• Neck pain associated with dizziness or visual disturbance
Post-Concussion Syndromes
• Symptoms persisting beyond expected recovery
• Ongoing headache, dizziness or visual disturbance
• Autonomic dysregulation
• Complex multisystem presentations
Clinical Approach...
Care is directed toward identifying the dominant drivers of symptoms in presentations that are frequently overlapping and multifactorial. Management is individualised and guided by clinical reasoning rather than standardised rehabilitation protocols.
Referrals are prioritised for complex or diagnostically challenging cases.
