REFERRAL PATHWAY
Border Headache and Vertigo operates as a referral-based practice with a limited caseload.
Referrals may be made at any stage of care. The practice is particularly suited to presentations requiring detailed assessment or diagnostic clarification.
Appropriate Referrals
• Chronic or high-frequency migraine
• Cervicogenic or atypical headache
• Persistent dizziness or vestibular migraine
• Dizziness not resolving with standard vestibular rehabilitation
• Ongoing symptoms following whiplash injury
• Persistent post-concussion symptoms
• Presentations involving overlapping headache, dizziness and neck pain
Referral Information
To assist with triage and assessment, referrals should include:
• Relevant imaging reports
• Medication history
• Summary of prior treatment undertaken
• Current symptom duration and primary concerns
Due to demand, a waiting list may apply. Urgent referrals should indicate clinical urgency.
